Finally, I have arrived at the end of my first 52-weekly project. It's been a fun experience I had so far committing to this project, even though I didn't do it smoothly over the weeks, and some of my posts are out-dated pictures. But, 1 thing that I gain from this project for sure is that my photographic vision has been improved.

My last post of this project was taken during my last photo hunting at Singapore Botanical Garden few times back. Initially would like to use this picture on "Texture" week, but after I saw clearly, I better put this picture as "Oldness" one. The obsolete part on the bottom-center, the texture I added, and the grainy effect I applied, somehow strongly tell us that this chair is really old. I really really like this picture. Hope you guys so...

Chinese peoples recognized this word/symbol as "xia4" (read: sya) (meaning: summer), pronounce with 4th tone, which is high falling tone (same tone as when we shout "What?" to something that shocking us). So, the words Xia Tian (read: sya dyen) is the full Chinese words of "Summer". Lesson done...LOL!

This shot was taken during the Diwali celebration few months back. AKA Deepavali, which also popularly known as "Festival of Light", is the big festival celebrated by our Hindus friends, involving the lighting of small clay lamps filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over evil.

The celebration starts at their own house together with the family members performing traditional activities, eating sweets, and then followed by a big gathering with families, friends, and relatives at public places (e.g.: park or garden) to burst the fireworks/firecrackers as shown in this shot. What a nice and lively celebration they have!

It was taken quite sometimes ago during my friend's son birthday party. Couldn't manage to get any shoots representing the "Wind" theme. So, I was digging out my collections, and i found this picture. A very lovely little girl who played with the electric fan. I can't deny that her pose with a smile brink on her face was really cool, but somehow the background was a bit distracting.

The first thing I had in mind when I saw this rocky surfaces was "What symbol is this, and why it's placed on the center of the pathway?" Maybe it just a symbol of peace or something that recognized by Japanese peoples, as I found it inside the Japanese Garden (Singapore) . Anyway, I really love this shoot. The rocky surfaces, rounded border and the big stone in the center were really create a very nice texture composition.

This is indeed the most important office tools on our grand fathers era that can be found anywhere. Police station, government institution, office, school, just name it. Oh man, what a big jump from an old traditional manual type machine into something that indeed makes our life easier nowadays. "Grandpa, what is this?"..."It's a thing that someday you will also fall in love with, pal". Maybe those were the conversations of 2 different generations had, which represented by this photo....LOL. When I was attending 1 of my friend son's birthday party, they were playing this games. Water balloon shoot. The intention was to throw as many water balloons as we could to the target person standing 5m away from where we stood, of course he was free to dodge. So, the more we could hit him, the bigger the score was, and it was damn fun yet challenging, especially because we only had limited number of balloons.

During my visit to one of the restaurant in Rochester Park - Singapore, I found out that the theme introduced by this restaurant was quite fun. It's all about home. They touch-up their rooms with different home atmospheres. Kitchen, garage, wine cellar, dining room, living room, family room, it's all there. And I was on the garage room with those tools being hung on the wall. It was attractive enough to let us feel like home, indeed.
